Mercer FirstChoice is a PPO network through the partnership of Sharon Regional Health System and physicians. Mercer FirstChoice has grown steadily since its start in 1994 and now offers a broad-based network of health care providers in Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. Our clients include self-funded employers, Taft-Hartley plans, insurers and third party administrators. Mercer FirstChoice is not an insurance carrier or third party administrator and does not assume any risk. However, we have partnered with Managed Care of America, Gilbert's Insurance and Consulting, and other PPO networks so we can offer employers a packaged comprehensive health benefit program.
